5k Bare Buns Fun Run

It’s not too early to register for Star Ranch’s annual Bare Buns Fun Run, slated for

April 14, 2012. “Bare Buns” means just that. Runners are required to wear nothing at all, and most do.

The 5K course is a cross-country layout, and much of the land is sandy.

This race is part of an American Association for Nude Recreation/Southwest running program, wherein other nudist clubs around the region also stage this type of event. Not only do we have runners who participate in all those races, we also have runners from Austin and Houston trying for a Personal Best here.

Age groups are defined, both for male and female runners. There is also a Kids’ 1K prior to the adult race. T-shirts are included in the registration fee.

South by Southwest will be in full swing from March 8 – 18. This annual event draws literally thousands of musicians and fans from across the globe. Their Housing Office tell us that hotels are filling up fast.

Have you considered staying at a private, safe and secure nudist park. Star Ranch in McDade is approximately 30 miles east of Austin, off Highway 290. We have RV pull-throughs with complete hookups, cabins to rent, and scores of dry camping sites.

Star Ranch is private, safe, and family oriented. A background check is done on everyone who wants to stay or play here. It is NOT a swinger environment. We have families with children residing here, so we monitor the goings-on very closely.

ROT Rally Bikers: Need a Place To Stay?

Where will you spend the night after a hard day of ROT-rallying? Star Ranch is a privately- owned, family-oriented nudist park in McDade, about 30 miles east of Austin off Highway 290.

Bikers have been welcome here during previous rallies. Some of our staff have been bikers. Two of our members met at ROT, and were later married there. Our 112 acres sporting thousands of trees and openness reflect the feeling of freedom which bikers love. There are RV pull-through sites, cabins for rent, and ample dry-camping areas. Star Ranch is a residential community. Some of our families have children here. It is safe and secure. It is NOT a swinger environment. Everyone who wants to stay or play here will undergo a background check when they check in at our office.

We are a family-oriented private nudist club located in McDade, Texas. Star Ranch has been in continuous operation since 1958. Our 112 acres of mostly wooded grounds provide complete privacy, as well as all the amenities normally associated with outdoor recreation. The Sahnoans (an old Spanish/Indian word meaning “The Healthy Ones”) at Star Ranch is chartered by the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR). Visitors are welcome. A background check is made on every visitor, which insures that persons with felony backgrounds are not allowed past the office.

The Star Ranch calendar boasts many activities every month of the year. Our indoor and outdoor pools, the indoor hot tub, petanque courts, shuffleboard court and miles of walking trails provide recreational outlets for everyone.
